Kendall Jones Editor, S2 Report

Kendall Jones is an award-winning business journalist and attorney, licensed to practice law in Alabama, Georgia, and Florida. Kendall received an honors degree with a concentration in Rhetoric and Communications Studies from the University of Virginia in 1989, and a law degree from Vanderbilt University School of Law in 1995.

Upon her graduation from law school, Kendall went to work as a business litigator for Alston & Bird, one of the top law firms in America. Kendall was a successful litigator -- she never lost a jury trial and appeared on Court TV several times.

In 2002, Kendall moved to Sarasota, Florida, to pursue a long-time goal of becoming a business writer. Within one year, she had won three prestigious regional awards for excellence in journalism. She has been the Senior Editor of the Gulf Coast Business Review and SRQ Magazine, Currently; she is the co-founder and Managing Editor of the S2 Report. She is also a partner in the new Sarasota law firm, Paloci & Jones, which represents entrepreneurs, small businesses and real estate investors.
