Steve Quieor President & CEO, Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce

Steve Queior is President & CEO of the 2,350 member employer Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce, the largest and oldest business organization in Sarasota County. Prior to this position, Steve was the Chief Executive of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, a dynamic business organization in Broward County.

In his chamber career, Queior was President of the Chamber of Commerce of St. Joseph County for 11 years, where his organization led the market area’s convention, visitor, and tourism programs and operated key economic development efforts. He worked in business, community and economic development roles before that.

Queior grew up in upstate New York, received a Bachelor’s degree from Colgate University, taught at the high school level and coached wrestling at the collegiate level before getting into chamber work. His educational and professional development includes completing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s in Public Affairs at Indiana University. He is a graduate of the United States Chamber of Commerce six-year Academy for Organization Leadership, of Leadership Florida, and has attained the professional designation of Certified Chamber Executive.
